NFL Transactions-Sept. 11
Posted by admin | Under NFL Saturday Sep 12, 2009Packers waived S Charlie Peprah with an injury settlement. With plenty of depth at safety, the Packers had no use for an injured fringe player.
Texans waived RB Andre Hall. The 27-year-old should clear waivers. The Texans are down to three runners on their active roster: starter Steve Slaton, Chris Brown, and Ryan Moats
Raiders placed DE Richard Seymour on their reserve/left team list, according to NFL Network’s Mike Lombardi. Seymour definitely won’t play Monday night against San Diego, which is another blow to Oakland’s porous run defense. Reserve/left team means Seymour risks losing his entire $3.685 million salary for failing to show after his trade from the Patriots. He’s already losing his game check for Week 1.
