It’s almost college  football time with kickoff set for Thursday, Sept. 3. I’m going to take a look at some of these games on the first weekend not because I want you to bet on them, but because I play College Pick-um on a couple of sties(espn and foxsports), and they use the spread. This way I can do my rearch on the games and write an article to. They’re so many, I will break these up into about 6-8 other post before next weekend.

South Carolina  @ North Carolina St.- (-4) I like NCST. in this one for several reasons. S. Car.’s QB is inconsistent, O-Line gave up 39 sacks last year, lack of proven running game and they lost 3 CB’s off last years team. NCST. has a First team All-ACC QB, 2 senoir RB’s, 4 senoirs on D-Line to put pressure on SC O-Line and they’re playing at home.

Utah St. @ Utah (-21)–I like Utah at home in this game. The reasons being Utah’s Defense only lost 3 players and only gave up 1 TD to Alabama in they’re bowl game, Utah St. is switching to a new Offense(Spread) and it may take a few games or more to get the rythem down and Utah averaged 37 pts. a game and if Utah St.’s spread misfires and turns the ball over, Utah will rack up a lot of points.
